Jetsun Milarepa (1042 – 1135) is generally considered one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and poets. He was a student of Marpa Lotsawa, and a major figure in the history of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.
This medium-sized painting is framed by blue, red and gold traditional brocade. Overall measurement (including brocade) is 45″ long x 24″ wide. (Width to the end of knobs is 31.5″) The painting itself measures 19.5″ x 13.75″.
